The main level offers a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy wood‑burning fireplace, and a large private deck perfect for grilling or soaking in the scenery. Enjoy Smart TVs, high‑speed WiFi, a PlayStation 3, and a dedicated workspace with a monitor and printer. Three portable AC units keep the home comfortable year‑round, and a washer/dryer adds everyday convenience.

Located just off Highway 550 with easy access to Purgatory Resort, the home includes two parking spaces and two cruiser bikes for exploring the area. Whether you’re here to ski, hike, bike, or simply relax under the Colorado sky, Cliffside Casa blends modern amenities with true mountain charm.

WHERE YOU'LL SLEEP:

* Upper Bedroom 2 - King Bunk Bed with TV and full bathroom
* (Note: the bunk bed is really big - we do not recommend that young children sleep on the top bunk)

COOLING: This property has Air Conditioning!

AMENITIES: The property has a shared hot tub, playground, and hiking. You can also walk or bike the 0.3-mile dirt road from the condo to the Nugget Mountain Bar - they have a food truck and indoor/outdoor seating with firepits. In the summer, they also feature live music! In the summer, a bike ride to the ski resort would be easy, too.

LOCATION: Silverpick sits at appx 8800 feet in elevation. It borders the National Forest and is about halfway between the historic towns of Durango and Silverton. This prime location is just 1 mile from Purgatory Ski Resort's entrance and approximately 25 minutes from downtown Durango, with scenic drives up to Silverton and Ouray. Enjoy both quiet privacy and the incomparable Needles Mountain views from this townhome, while being close enough to the action of Purgatory Resort where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

PETS: This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay). Pets must be crated if they are left home alone. Guests are expected to clean up after their pets.

NOTE: There is a Ring spotlight camera over the front door - lights will turn on with motion.

If you booked on a third-party site (VRBO, Airbnb, etc), your cancellation is subject to their policy. We do offer travel insurance.

  Overall the place is great and very convenient to the ski resort if that’s important. The lay out is perfect with my kids in the bunk room while we stayed in the other king room. We were able to light a fire and enjoy a real wood burning fire which we don’t have at home. I will say everything is great and would rent again if it’s just my family. The downside would be, they should remove the tables on the porch and put a hot tub there instead. The one little hot tub provided is down the street in another set of townhomes.

  This place is by far the nicest and cleanest vacation rental we’ve found that allows you to vacation with your dog. Everything was so clean and well organized with everything you need, even dog bowls . They have sleds and all the hair products (even Aveda) etc you need as well. We’ll be back for sure.

  This is a beautiful, clean and well stocked mountain home. The kitchen had everything you would need to prepare meals including a fun coffee area. The 3 king beds (one bunk bed) was comfortable with nice pillows and blankets. The washer and dryer was available for guest use. We did not use the fireplace nor the hot tub but both appeared to be very nice. We felt safe staying here and the views of the mountains were great. This is a fun place to stay if you are visiting Durango but you don’t want to stay in town. We would definitely stay here again!

  The condo was perfect for our group. It looks even better than the pictures. It had everything we needed. The bunk bedroom is huge! Our family would definitely recommend and would stay here again. We came in the summer but would be an amazing location for winter and skiing. We walked to the Nugget twice for lunch. My kids loved the trails for hiking right behind the complex. We sat out on the patio every evening. Highly recommend!

  We go 4 Wheeling every summer and this year we needed to take our dogs with us, so we came across this gem. We normally stay at a different place up the road from the silverpick but they do not allow pets. Their loss our gain as this place is much newer and very well equipped. Plenty of room and close to everything we do. The price was very comparable and the townhouse was very spacious unlike other places we have stayed. We will book again in the future. The management company was very easy to work with and very good about keeping in touch with us, very nice to have good channel of communication.

  From start to finish the experience was wonderful. 5 stars in every category.This is our 2nd stay on this property because of the proximity and ease to Purgatory. Property inside and out is well maintained....including daily snow clearing methods AND they even cleared off the front porch and back patio of the snow each day. Amenities: had everything we needed. Nice touch was the availability of a computer and printer, a book about Durango, and the detailed, easy to understand property instructions (some rental properties are not as thorough.) Owner and manager were prompted with any questions we had. We definitely recommend this location to those wishing a close location to Purgatory, beautiful scenery, pet friendly, many amenities, and a clean well maintained property. Restaurant locations are few but can be found and accessed easily. Durango and Silverton are pretty much equal distances from each other in this location. The drive to Silverton is worth is a lovely drive. See you next ski season 2024.

  We have stayed at Silverpick many times in the past. This was one of the prettiest units. If you love to hike, this is a great location. Hikes between Durango and Silverton are easily accessible. A dinner at Sow's Ear is always a highlight of our trip. Our only complaint was that there was no provision for recycling.

  The unit was in very good shape and was very comfortable for our party of 4. All furnishings and decor were well done. All supplies were as promised. We had an initial issue with the Direct TV, but it was repaired quickly. Note that the shower in the second bedroom is small, but workable even for a tall guy like me. Overall this was a great location to stay with great views and the unit was as advertised or better. We would do it again if we were visiting the Durango/Silverton area.

  We have stayed at 109 in Silverpick several times and always enjoy it. The location is excellent; near the slopes, but out of the crowded resort area. We spent Christmas there this year and had a blast skiing and snowmobiling, but we have also rented it in the summer, which is our favorite time. The owners did a great job recently remodeling the kitchen and living area, giving it the feel of a new condo.
