Cancellation Policy: When booking direct with Vacation Rental Collective, a non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

  I met five close friends from all over the United States in Santa Fe to celebrate my 50th birthday, and this trip quite possibly became one of the best weekends of my life — and this house had a lot to do with that.
  
  High Desert Hideaway immediately felt warm, welcoming, and peaceful from the moment we arrived. It somehow managed to feel both beautifully designed and completely comfortable at the same time, which made it incredibly easy for our group to settle in and truly enjoy being together.
  
  We stocked the fridge with groceries, cooked meals together in the kitchen, packed picnic lunches for our adventure days, and spent our evenings gathered around the house laughing and catching up late into the night. Every cozy corner of the home got used — morning coffee conversations, rooftop sunset watching, quiet chats tucked into little seating areas, relaxing in the hot tub after long days exploring New Mexico. The house genuinely encouraged connection and togetherness in such a natural way.
  
  The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well-appointed for a group, and the entire property felt thoughtfully curated without ever feeling overly precious or formal. And the sunsets from the rooftop deck were absolutely unforgettable.
  
  The location also worked beautifully as a home base for exploring Santa Fe, Madrid, and Taos during the day while still giving us a calm, restorative place to come home to each evening.
  
  I would absolutely stay here again and would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, uniquely Santa Fe gathering place for friends or family.
