LUCKY BASS RETREAT: Welcome to Lucky Bass Retreat, where rustic charm meets modern comfort in the heart of the Northern Highland. Built in 2013, this 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath getaway is the ideal place to make memories with the ones you love.

Spend your mornings on the covered front porch, then let the fun begin! The detached garage has been transformed into a seasonal game room packed with entertainment, from ping pong and darts to board games and more. Grab a set of bean bags for a round of cornhole or even hop on the provided bikes to explore the scenic surroundings. You can gather everyone for an evening around the firepit.

Inside, you'll find two inviting living areas with smart TVs and electric fireplaces. A fully stocked kitchen for home-cooked meals and a washer/dryer to make longer stays a breeze. Whether you're unwinding after a day of adventure or settling in for a movie night, this home is as cozy as it is convenient.

HIGHLIGHTS: Outside, a wonderful covered front porch beckons you to unwind and soak in the tranquil atmosphere. The detached garage is set up as a seasonal game room with ping pong and darts. There are also bicycles in the garage, bean bag toss, and a firepit area for more outdoor fun. Inside, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, two living spaces, washer/dryer, smart TVs in every room, electric fireplaces and a washer/dryer.

PETS: We are happy to welcome your furry friends! Up to two (2) dogs are allowed for $20/night, with a maximum of $120.

LAKES: This home is a 10-minute walk to Bass Lake on a rustic trail through the woods and it is also very close to the Rainbow Flowage - both are full rec lakes with boat launches. The 3,100-acre Rainbow Flowage is home to northern pike, walleye, panfish, musky, and bass.

TRAILS: You can take off from your ATV or snowmobile right from the home to get onto the nearby trails. Check out the various Clubs on our "Destinations" page to navigate all the trail systems.

AREA: Lucky Bass Retreat is 10 min to Lake Tomahawk, 20 min to Minocqua, 15 min to St. Germain, and 30 min to Eagle River. This home borders the Northern Highland American Legion State Forest. Lake Tomahawk is home to the famous Snowshoe Baseball games played every Monday night in the summer and has several dining options.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a Ring camera at the front door facing the driveway. Bring your own watercraft and lake towels.

Due to Oneida County regulations, this property requires a minimum 7-night booking. Shorter bookings are not permitted, and we are subject to penalties for non-compliance.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount, while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. We do offer travel insurance. [PLEASE NOTE:] Airbnb, VRBO, and other 3rd party online travel agencies ("OTA's") have cancellation policies that may be different AND supersede our policy.   We had a fantastic stay at this Northwood cabin! It had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing getaway. The ping pong table was a big hit with our group, and we loved having bikes available to explore the area. Evenings around the fire pit were perfect—plenty of seating and a peaceful setting under the stars. The cabin was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with thoughtful amenities.   We had a wonderful week at Lucky Bass Retreat. The house was Beautiful, clean and equipped with everything we needed and more. Plenty of room for 6 people to spread out and enjoy the week. Nice extra living room and room on the lower level and also a game room in the garage. We will definitely rent this house again in the future.
