Our split-level cabin offers a cozy, nostalgic Colorado getaway, blending rustic charm with modern comfort. The main level features a welcoming living room, a small efficiency kitchen, and a full bath, with stairs leading up to the loft bedroom. Step out onto the riverfront deck to watch stunning Colorado sunsets dance along the banks of the Rio Grande River.

The lower level has its own private entrance and provides direct access to a second bedroom, full bath, washer/dryer, and a convenient coffee bar, ideal for families or guests seeking a bit of extra privacy.

Situated on 1,000 feet of private river access to the Gold Medal Waters of the Rio Grande River, our cabin is a dream for fishing enthusiasts. Late spring and early summer bring Mayflies and Salmon flies, creating a unique and unforgettable river experience—while completely harmless, they are abundant during this time.

Just a short drive away, enjoy the slopes of Wolf Creek Ski Area, the greens at Rio Grande Club & Resort, and endless trails for hiking, ATV/UTV adventures, and exploration. The circular drive provides a convenient staging area for UTV/ATV trailers.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required when booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount, while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

  We had a tragedy in our family, and our one sons passed. He and his brother would go every year. Anyway, our other snowboarding son could not find a friend to go this year, so he suckered us with the make it a family vacation. First, my wife and I hate snow and cold weather. However, this place has changed our mind. We travel all around the US and outside. This is one of the most beautiful places we have slept. The river was not frozen, but running. It was absolutely beautiful.

  We enjoyed our stay at the South Fork Cabin recently. The staff was extremely responsive to an issue I haD WITH THE FIRE PIT. They were also quite communicative in making sure we were enjoying our stay. The only concern I had was the stairs are quite steep and narrow to the loft bedroom.
