The Creede River House is a beautiful riverfront retreat nestled along the banks of the Gold Medal Waters of the Rio Grande River, just two miles from historic downtown Creede, home of the world-renowned Creede Repertory Theater, art galleries, shopping, and restaurants.

The home's main level features a gourmet kitchen with double ovens and a gas range, and it is a chef's dream. Granite countertops provides a spacious space

We have the following surveillance devices on the property for liability and insurance purposes: a camera above the garage door faces the front of the home, a camera faces west, looking at the roadside, and a camera at the backdoor facing the river.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Book 7+ nights and a 10% discount is automatically applied (does not apply during Christmas/New Year's and 4th of July holidays).

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, you will need to pay in full at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before your arrival only lose the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

    This house was perfect for our group with plenty of space inside and outside the home. We had trucks with trailers that hauled our SxS’s and Creede offered plenty of trails to keep us busy during our stay. Recommend for all!

    This home is the best we’ve rented over our 15 years af being a VRBO renter. From fishing the Rio Grande out the back door, mountain scenery in every direction, fully stocked house (not just kitchen but the whole house!), strong WiFi, a grill with propane, a solo stove for campfire s’mores, quick and easy communication with property management and only five minutes to town, we were amazed at how great this property turned out to be. We will be booking again, hopefully annually as we had nothing negative to report during our stay.
