The Verdant Honeycomb at Tamarron Resort (Gambel Oak #768 & #769) combines two remodeled condos connected by an interior door—perfect for groups seeking space and comfort. Both units offer beautiful views of the Glacier Club golf course and the surrounding San Juan Mountains.

Together, the 1 bed/1 bath suite and 2 bed/2 bath condo provide ample room to relax, with cozy living areas, electric fireplaces, Roku TVs, and fully equipped kitchens. Enjoy mountain scenery from the extra‑large deck or the private balcony reached by a striking spiral staircase. Located just off the 3rd hole of the Valley Course, you’re only 10 minutes from skiing, 20 minutes from downtown Durango, and close to on‑site dining.

Each unit includes its own washer and dryer, dedicated workspace with high‑speed internet (100+ Mbps), and plenty of room for meals, games, or grilling on the electric BBQ. It’s an ideal setup for families, friends, or remote workers looking for comfort and convenience in a stunning mountain setting.

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge. Our Tamarron rental guests can play Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course at an exclusive discounted rate. Details will be provided in your rental instructions. There is a $20 per person ski shuttle to purgatory on weekends - tickets must be purchased in advance and the pick-up location is in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot.

LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

    We had a lovely stay at this property. The property was clean, comfortable, and had all of the items we needed for cooking meals for a large group. The location was great, allowing us to easily get to Purgatory and Durango. The gym on the property was very nice and well equipped. One problem we encountered was that a smoke detector in an adjoining condo was chirping throughout the night disrupting the sleep of some members of our party. When we called guest services, we were told there was no maintenance on the weekend and nothing could be done. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

Unfortunately, the smoke detector you heard was in a unit we do not manage, so there wasn't much we could do about that other than report it to the HOA (they do not work on weekends).     We enjoyed our stay at the condos. Everything was as described and well furnished. Plenty of room for our group of six. Communication from customer service was great. It was a ski trip, so the short drive to Purgatory was nice.
