Located in the historic Eastside neighborhood of Longmont, this charming family- & pet-friendly two-bedroom bungalow has a fantastic backyard and is within walking distance to all the things that make Longmont great, like restaurants, breweries, open space, dog and people parks.
The shady backyard is a great space for games and sports. It's roughly 50 feet by 30 feet. Croquet set provided! Outdoor seating and a grill make it a choice venue for cooking out. Dogs love it too!
It's a family-friendly neighborhood with numerous parks with playgrounds, outdoor pools, library, museums, Etc. There is a pack-and-play available for our littlest guests.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the sweet little front patio or at one of the coffee houses (Ziggis) or morning breakfast spots in town (Tangerine's or Lucile's). Visit charming locally owned shops like Maker General and look for locally roasted coffee and fun crafts for all. The library is just a few blocks down, and you can't go wrong with local tacos (Summit Tacos) or dog-friendly breweries (Wibby Brewing & Longs Peak Brewing). Longmont also has some great fine dining - Sugar Beet, Tortugas, and West End Tavern are some of our favorites. Check out Moe's bagels or takeout from Spicy House for a quick bite.
Longmont is home to great bodies of water, like Lake MacIntosh (great for paddle boarding or a gorgeous sunset walk), Carter Lake (fantastic hikes, fishing, & swimming), and St. Vrain Creek is less than a mile away - you can do some lazy tubing down the winding river (rentals available behind the Best Buy). With just a 25 min drive to Ft. Collins, Louisville, Boulder, Estes Park, and the foothills, and a 45-50 min drive to Denver, there are plenty of ways to seek adventure, whether it be hiking, skiing, climbing breweries, Meow Wolf, museum tours, or a Rockies game.
For guests with kids, we recommend the Longmont Museum's children's exhibit, family events held by Integral Steps (they often hold weekend music and art classes, school break camps, or concerts), or the Rec Center is just down the way.
Please note that there is a train nearby that you may hear occasionally. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to take this into consideration.
The backyard is fully fenced in for your pups to enjoy, but please don't leave any dogs outside unattended. The backyard has a chicken coop that connects to the neighbor’s yard with a chain link gate.
