Our home is the perfect base for whatever your Santa Fe agenda includes, whether you’re visiting for the world class art, music & culture, one-of-a-kind New Mexico cuisine, outdoor recreation, or high desert tranquility…you’ll find you’re in the premier location for everything the area has to offer! After a full day of exploring historic Santa Fe, relax in the colorful New Mexico sunset and, as our name suggests, blanket yourself in an unforgettable night sky experience from the lounge chairs nearby. Large open windows provide warm sunlight and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Nearby hiking and biking trails, including the popular Nine Mile Road “Rail Trail” are found nearby. The thoughtfully manicured grounds provide an array of high desert exploration opportunities and activities.

Authentic Santa Fe design and decor adorn the apartment-size unit and thoughtful details are weaved throughout that will immerse you in Santa Fe’s unique culture and beauty. The kitchen, dining, and living room are intertwined to create the ideal place for your family. The sunroom terrace is bright and warm and provides another cheery seating area. The reliable high speed “business grade” internet provides connection so you can easily work and study remotely. There is a dedicated office space meant for remote student or business travelers. A smart TV is also provided to stream your favorite subscription channels (please note cable is not provided).

The well-equipped kitchen will inspire you to plan your own meals while experimenting with fresh Santa Fe ingredients from the farmers market or nearby grocery stores. Or take a short drive to the historic downtown district and experience the culinary adventure of the world class Santa Fe dining scene. Be sure to stop in at Bob Cat Bite or the famous Harry’s Roadhouse, located just a few minutes down the road.

The bedroom has a queen bed and plenty of closet space. There is also a full-size sofa bed in the living room. The bathroom includes a soaking tub and beautiful vanity along with a washer/dryer combo unit.

The expansive grounds have many features not to miss, including a zen garden, bocce ball and seating areas to bask in the warm sun and take in the surrounding high desert views. Bird houses are located throughout the grounds along with 10 varieties of apple trees and 27 fragrant flowering shrub varieties…an excellent choice if you love bird watching!

Please note that our guesthouse is part of a home that is sectioned into 3 separate vacation rental units, so you may see other guests on the grounds or lower level of the sunroom. Rest assured you will have complete privacy and no other spaces are shared. If you are interested in reserving any of the adjacent units, or the entire property for a group stay, please contact us!

Please note that the county road to our home is not paved. It is completely accessible by car, however, during heavy snow events, the plow schedule may affect access temporarily. The driveway to the home is paved and maintained. 4-wheel drive is required during winter months November - March.

The home is dog friendly (1 dog max) and the pet fee is $250/stay.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within thirty (30) days* of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount. Cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment.
*For 30+ night reservations, the cancellation policy above increases to 60 days.
