Step into the spacious newly remodeled getaway. Guests love every detail in this beautifully decorated, 2nd floor home just steps away from everything you could ask for - shops, restaurants, trailheads, excursions, waterfalls, and breathtaking views!

Prepare a well-deserved meal after a day of adventure in the spacious, well stocked kitchen with gorgeous granite countertops, stainless steal appliances and conveniently located stackable washer and dryer. The living room if so comfy and well laid out for relaxing after a long day of adventuring. A desk area is also provided for the remote business traveler and fiber wi-fi speeds at 300/300mbps.

Each bedroom is designed with your comfort in mind. The primary bedroom features a King size bed and the second bedroom features a comfortable Queen size bed with a Pack-n-Play for your little one.

Living Room - 1 twin Futon pullout (for children only)

Step out onto the deck and enjoy a morning hot beverage or Alpenglow libation and your favorite outdoor meal. The back hallway provides room to store a couple of bikes or ski gear.

Guests are welcome to park up to two regular-sized vehicles in front of this vacation home. Trailers and RV's are not allowed to park at this home, but free parking for trailers and RV's is available at the west end of 9th Avenue.

This home is pet-friendly. Guests are welcome to bring up to 2 well-behaved dogs. The pet fee is $40.00, per night/$250.00 maximum. Please confirm that you will be traveling with a dog(s) when you book your reservation. Please review and follow the Pet Policy.

ABOUT THE AREA
Ouray, Colorado, nestled at 7,800 feet, offers year-round outdoor activities and has everything you could want during your Colorado mountain vacation any time of year! In the spring, summer, and fall months visitor's enjoy exploring, riding ATVs, hiking, biking, rock climbing, horseback riding excursions, and fishing. You'll love the summer music series in Ouray's Fellin Park! In the winter months bring your snowshoes, ice climbing gear, or Nordic skis and enjoy downhill skiing in Telluride, a scenic 60-minute drive from Ouray! Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 named ice and mixed climbs, spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. After a day of adventure enjoy a variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, and the ever popular Ouray Hot Springs. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes resulting in a shortened stay made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

  This rental was super clean and spacious! The pictures don’t give you a true sense of how big or well appointed it really is. The location was so close to everything in town. Several days we just walked to the grocery store and shops. The beds are super comfortable and the rental supplied us with everything we needed. This rental is upstairs, so I wouldn’t suggest for anyone who is elderly. We will book this place again!!

  During my son's graduation trip, we decided to spend a few days in Ouray. I had looked at multiple properties, but finally settled on this unit due to the reported cleanliness and location. We arrived late, and the check in process was seamless. The unit was just as described and exceptionally clean and well appointed. As a matter of fact, it was one of the better appointed/decorated units I have ever stayed in. The unit is located directly in the center of town and is within easy walking distance to everything, including all of the shops, restaurants, hiking trails, and hot springs. The property was also contained amenities not found at most properties (laundry detergent, nice cookware/range, beverage glasses, etc). The only thing that I misunderstood in the listing was the "Other Space - 1 Double Sofa Bed", thinking it was big enough for one of my teenage children. If I had read the listing more closely, I would have noticed it specifically says "for small children". Just something to note in case you may miss it as well. All in all, I could not recommend this place, or the rental company more.

It was literally a few steps away from everything on Main St., and we very much enjoyed the luxurious king sized bed in the main bedroom.   We had only one issue with the smoke alarm in which case the maintenance showed up right after we messaged the host and took care of it (less than an hour!). really great and responsive host.
