Townhome Across from Purgatory - Awesome Views/Deck/Private Hot Tub - Shuttle

Our pet friendly 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath, 2,200 square foot townhome is located just across highway 550 from Purgatory Resort and is 24 miles north of downtown Durango (less than a 30 minute drive).

Enjoy the convenience of being at the ski resort, yet have the privacy and additional space of a townhome (that is part of a duplex) with a two car garage. The resort is both an amazing winter playground, and offers a wealth of all your favorite mountain activities in a cool and comfortable summer climate at 8,900 feet in elevation. For ease, there is a free on-demand shuttle to the ski resort in winter.

The home is adjacent to over a million acres of national forest land and backs one of the finest hiking trails in the area. Unlimited adventures await in the incomparable San Juan National Forest with walking access to three watersheds with abundant trout and extraordinary vistas of the Needles Mountains.

The home is perfect for multiple families as it features two living spaces on different floors as well an open floor plan, cathedral ceilings, high end appliances and great views. There are 5 TVs in the house (each bedroom and both living spaces) and the main living space and master bedroom feature gas fireplaces. The large deck and hot tub make this property perfect.

The home is located near the Purgatory Flats trail head, one of the finest and most scenic hikes in the area as well as a stocked pond for fishing/paddle boarding and a playground and in winter, there is a cross country ski trail right close by. 4WD is NOT required in the winter.

3rd Bedroom - 2 Double Beds with TV (2nd Floor)
Loft - Queen Pull out sofa and Bunk Beds (single over single) with TV (2nd Floor)

Book 7+ days and a 10% discount is automatically applied.

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club.

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding, etc) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, etc) activities.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer
travel insurance.

  Tacoma was the perfect house for our two families that do an annual ski trip to Purgatory. The location was so great since it was right across the street from the resort. The mountain views from the living room and hot tub could not be better! The house had a nice layout for the kids and adults with two masters, a loft with bunks and a room with two doubles and its own bath. We had plenty of space for everyone and enjoyed game nights after a day of skiing. The rental company was very responsive and friendly when we needed them and we appreciate them so much! We will be returning next winter to stay at Tacoma ⛷️

  This is a wonderful little townhome in a beautiful location. We seen lots of wildlife and was very comfortable. Needs a few repairs but that comes with rentals and it was very clean and had everything we needed. Such nice management and very willing to help . Will be back for sure

  We had a beautiful location with great separate spaces for siblings and families to join. Beautiful views and small lake hike down the walk for the pup. The home is beautifully stocked and efficient for a home base, gathering and game nights. There is everything needed for cooking feasts in and enjoying.
  We did encounter some mechanical issues, but the Collective and contacts were incredibly kind and prompt to assure all was taken care of in no time.
  We have fallen in love with the area! Recommend the Aztec Ruins, NM if you don’t have time for Mesa Verde. Durango itself is a fun town with lots to check out also!5
