This cozy modern rustic mountain getaway, complete with tasteful furnishings and artwork inside and stunning views of the surrounding mountains is the perfect basecamp for a couple or bff's to unwind and enjoy the San Juan mountains year-round.

Take a scenic 50-minute drive to Telluride or dance the night away at the famous FREE Hartwell Park summer concert series performances every Thursday evening in July and/or the Ouray Mountain Air Music Series every Thursday evening in June. After a day of activities retreat back to the private fenced back yard for afternoon or evening libations around the firepit. Prepare your favorite summer meal on the propane grill or a winter feast in the gourmet kitchen with a Blue Star gas range. Gather around the heirloom dining table to relax during Alpenglo.

After dinner enjoy the ambiance of the open-concept living room, southwestern style gas fireplace, blue-tooth sound system and Smart TV. The bedroom welcomes guests with light and airy décor, a comfortable organic mattress queen bed and flat screen Smart TV to enjoy your favorite movie or tv series. There is plenty of storage space in he armoire and six-drawer dresser. The bathroom features a modern walk-in stone shower.

On the south side of the house is a covered patio with a bistro table and two chairs for morning coffee. Working remotely is a snap with a dedicated workspace and fiber high-speed Internet.

  We had a spectacular month in Ridgway and the house was a big part of it. It’s a beautifully built home with everything we needed and located right in town. We walked to restaurants and coffee shops, biked the Dallas Divide right from the front door, walked to the river, and hung out in the backyard. Everything about the place was comfortable and easy and we are still dreaming of the views of Sneffels and the Cimarron’s.

    The headboard is very loose and hit the wall even with just sitting on the bed. The door to the bathroom needs adjustment.

  Just the right size and location for an extended stay (28 days) in Ridgway to be near my kids and grocery shopping, etc., but not in their space. Beautifully designed with high-end fittings and furnishings. The large dining table with benches was perfect for laying out my summer art projects. Browsed the wonderful book collection while soaking up morning sun from the comfortable loungers in the front patio and then migrated to the back patio bistro table for afternoon shade and breezes. Quiet, yet walking distance to all of the town's restaurants, Dennis Weaver Memorial Park and the town park, where it's all happening. Really a lovely space, thoughtfully laid out, and meticulously kept. The management agent was very responsive by text and phone on a couple of early minor issues, and helpful overall. Would happily reserve this retreat again -- if my kids invite me back next summer!
